Peace March Etiquette

What You Can Do

  1. Inform yourself and others, read alternative news sources, discuss the politics and business of war in your family, work, school or church environments.

  2. Call and/or write Senators, Representatives, and the White House to protest this war.  Don't know your reps, or like to learn more about them or send them an email?  Click here.

  3. Come to the Peace Seekers Meetings, be active in planning and carrying out educational events.

  4. Envision Peace. Meditate on it. Pray for Peace.

  5. Write letters to the editor of your local paper and other media.  Express your views on any aspect of the war.  For ideas, read past letters to the editor, especially pro-war letters and answer to them.

  6. Have one of our speaker's bureau members talk to your group or class.  Currently our own Phyllis Bergquist is available for presentations on Israel/Palestine and "The Wall" Israel is building.

  7. Donate to political parties, political action committees, and causes that promote peace and non-violent change.

Join us in locally actively protesting the war.
